Creativity & New Media

With the help of Bitmoji, I've created my own personal avatar. I can share my avatar with different backgrounds and expressions and share it with friends and family on social media. Bitmoji helps me be more creative through text and Snapchat when talking with friends. I have also used my personal avatar to invite friends and family to gatherings.

    Hello Maria, I like how Bitmoji can create your avatar very similar to how one looks and it create different backgrounds for your avatar especially for birthdays celebrations or any special occasion. I remember when Bitmoji first came, it was limited to Snapchat but it expanded for every social media platforms and even to professional jobs. At my job, many of our bosses uses their Bitmoji avatars for presentations.

    Hi Maria, I also did the bitmoji on snapchat and I thought that it was very cool. They sometimes give you very random emoji's that are really unique. Rather than having profile pictures, this is a very fun way to express yourself. I've never had an online avatar that resembles me. Even when I was playing animal crossing, my character was completely different. I will also try to use this app to invite friends and family to gatherings too!

Next New

I believe virtual reality technology use will continue to increase in the future and new ways of using this media will be invented. Recently, I started teaching my cousin how to drive, and honestly, it is very nerve-racking. As VR reality usage increases, I believe it can be used as a way of teaching students drivers how to drive, park, and show them different scenarios before they start practicing in real life. Maybe this can be a course before they take their license exam to ensure that they are prepared.
